Magnolia-licious Spooky Fun

Howdy y'all!  I hope everyone is having a great start to the week so far!!

I'm back with a card for the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog and the theme is "Spooky Fun".

I sure did have to rack my brain for this one.  It took me over a week to finish this simple card haha! Halloween is NOT my thing that is for sure!  I ended up using  Lighting Edwin and just coloring his face and hands and feet and wrapping him in cheese cloth haha!

So what do you think? I think he makes a pretty cute mummy!  I used dies from Magnolia-licious such as the Viva Tree from Poppy Stamps and the Memory Box Classic Upper Alpha for the words.  The texture stamps are from a Tim Holtz set that I have.  The haunted house is from a cricut cartridge - Paper Dolls.

Please be sure to check out my teammates cards as I know they will inspire you.

As always we would love to have you join our challenge!!!

Hope Your Day Is Filled With Joy!

Hiya!  I have another magazine card to share with you.

Every time I see this little stamp from Lili of the Valley, I smile!  Doesn't she look so happy riding her bike with her pup? Love it!  This is Annabel Pedal Power.

I used the sentiments from Handwritten Phrases which are very handy.  I really like the font for these.  I colored Annabel with Inktense pencils which LOTV has here along with the paper that I like to use with them. The colors that are put together in the set are all colors that are must haves for me, I think you will like the color choices as well.

I hope you enjoy your day today!!! Thank you for stopping by!

Sad To See You Go!

Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well!

Today's card is for the Magnolia-licious Challenges currently going on with the theme "Monochromatic".  This challenge will run until October 13, so pick a color, stick with it and you will have a chance to win a Special Surprise Package from Magnolia-licious.

My neighbor is moving next month and I am just sick! I love all my neighbors!  She is actually moving to my hubby's home town an hour and a half away, so at least I know where she is going and can go visit.  Rambo loves her and we call her the Dog Whisperer on our street haha! All dogs love her!!!  I am having a little going away party for her and so I made this card especially for her.

I made my card with my dear friend Elaine's style in mind! I love how her cards come together, she uses a very clean but beautiful style.  Thanks for the inspiration Elaine!  My papers are from a dear friend in the UK and they are Pion Designs.  I stayed with the slate blue color for my monochromatic but since there is so much cream it is like two colors ooops! The stamp is called Farewell Tilda from the Bon Voyage Collection.  I colored Tilda with Inktense Pencils.

Leave us a comment on any of the DT's blogs and /or the Challenge blog during any of the Magnolia-licious posts for a chance to win a weekly prize.  The winner is announced every week during the "W"ednesday post.  The more you comment on all the posts the better your chances to win.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by my blog!

"W"ednesday Post at Magnolia-licious

Oh gosh! Do you ever "think" you posted something only to realize you never did it in the first place? Yikes! That's me today.  I thought I scheduled this post late last week.  Oh well, better late than never right?

This is a little card I made for the "W"ednesday Inspirational post at Magnolia-licious!  I absolutely LOVE using Sylvia Zet's Wee stamps, they are so adorable.  This one is "Fluffy on the Lily".  This cutie is available at Magnolia-licious right now! Isn't he cute doing the splits on the stem? haha! Hence the reason I had to put "Hang in there" for the sentiment.

I colored this little squirrel up with Inktense Pencils and added "fur" with Prismacolor Pencils for a little more detail.  My papers are Maja Designs and the lovely lace is from a dear friend.

You can see the "Whimsical Flourish" by Memory Box that I used with my flowers.  Those swirls are so handy.  I can totally see them with the snowflakes for Christmas cards.

My vintage seam binding and sparkly button are from The Ribbon Girl!

Be sure to check out the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog for more inspirations from the talented Norma!!

Merry Christmas Y'all!

Well hello there! Since I am from Texas I just had to use the super cute new "Cowgirl" from Lili of the Valley and make it a Christmas card.

Yee haw!  I used distress inks to color her and then sewed around the edges.  I printed the sentiment on my computer.  The papers are from the Twas the Night pad.  I absolutely LOVE the colors in this pad.  The gingham is from some very old papers that I had laying around.

Be sure to check out the new sweet Annabel stamps, they are sooooo fun and a little something for everyone's interests!

Cocka-doodle-doo!

Hi there! I am posting a card just for fun today!  This is a cutie stamp I received from Magnolia-licious called Tilda With Cockadoodledoo from the Animals of the Year collection.

First I ink my stamp with my black stazon and then stamped on some scrap once so that the second generation would be much lighter, then stamped on my cardstock.  I colored her with my Inktense pencils.  I was so happy to use my Maja Designs papers with the rooster on them and to boot I love the colors!!!!

You can see I added some die cuts like the Doohickey Lovely Fence and Vintage Tag and then the piece behind the flowers is a Memory Box Die called Trellis Border.  I thought it looked a bit like chicken wire.

I hope you like my card! Thank you again for stopping by!

Have a great afternoon everyone!

Hugs, Dena
